A little carnival. A lot of music.
EDC is part music festival, part after-dark playground. The stages are the main attraction, but art installations, carnival rides and roaming performers turn the space between sets into part of the experience. The appeal is having somewhere new to wander when your group inevitably agrees to meet “by that thing with the lights.”
For three days, Tinker Field becomes a place to catch the artists you came for and stumble into a sound you didn’t know you needed. Big singalongs, heavy drops, long stretches on the dance floor—there’s room for more than one kind of festival weekend.
Find your corner of the festival
The festival’s stages give the weekend its different personalities. Kinetic Field and Circuit Grounds bring the large-scale spectacle, Neon Garden leans into house and techno, and Stereo Bloom spans several dance-music styles. Half the fun is finding the stage you keep coming back to.
The 2026 lineup page has the artist breakdown by day. Keep an eye on set-time updates for the performance schedule.
The useful stuff, without killing the mood
It’s a long day on your feet, so comfortable shoes, earplugs and a charged phone earn their place in the bag. A meeting point agreed before the music starts can save a lot of “where are you?” texts later.
Valid photo ID is required. EDC’s rules cover bags and hydration packs, and there is no same-day re-entry. The official entry guide has the current details. Our transportation guide brings the shuttle, parking and drop-off links together.
Orlando keeps the weekend going
The festival is only part of what’s happening around town. Thursday pre-parties get the weekend moving, while clubs and independent promoters keep the music going after the festival closes. Some nights run well into the next morning.
Our pre-party and afterparty guide puts those nights in one place, with dates, venues and direct ticket links. Festival admission and separate party tickets are different purchases. For the wider picture, explore all Orlando events during EDC weekend.
